THE STORY

The new Telstra office is a study in experiential design. Inspired by Neighbourhood-based Choice Environment (NCE), it was crafted to foster diverse working methods that improve employee wellbeing.

The design reinvents the office space as a landscape of several self-sufficient neighbourhoods. Each of these neighbourhoods cater to specific employee needs, and provide a selection of task-based settings that enhance productivity. The walk to this ingenious office space leads to serendipitous encounters with destinations like collaboration spaces, breakout rooms, and the cafeteria. The design is further enhanced with vibrant colour, ergonomic furniture, and biophilic design elements that are a treat for the eyes.
